Chapter 646 - Pride
"SHUT — UP — ASURA!" She squeezed out, gritting her teeth, with fury in her eyes.
"Never!" I righteously argued, clapping my arm against my chest, "If this is going to happen. My wife cannot find out. She is bat shit crazy."
Biting the tip of her lips, making my mind spin with such alluring thoughts, I smiled and grew solemn." Now about this mess. Shall the Court of Nox and the Holy Swords discuss this mindless attack on me? The angels came to my home, not bothering to offer freedom under a dictator like Arsene Snow, but rather slavery or death. I don\'t know, what the hell is going on, but I will not be a slave to anyone."
"Sir, this —"
You will be silent," I snarled, narrowing my eyes, letting out a sliver of bloodlust that brought a cold gust of frost over these halls. "Now the Holy Swords had best come up with a good excuse for why they are siding with the Angels who tried to kill my Master."
"Sir," Said the Captain, dripping sweat from every possible pore. "Just allow us time; this could all be a misunderstanding."
"My Master just killed a High God, Monarch. She nor those I hold dare on Midgard, have time." I barked, flickering through the shadows with the Dao of Darkness, and Lightning, to Cleo\'s side. Surprising everyone at my sudden disappearance, and reappearance, I placed my hands around her succulent waist and pulled her close. "I am leaving with my future consort to bear several hundred children before this war tears me apart!"
Feeling her body heat up all of a sudden, I could not help but be surprised as Cleo lifted her deep scarlet eyes. Trembling in my arms, I nodded and flicked her nose, "Now darling, a few more minutes, and you can have your way with me."
"DIE!!!" She cried, unsheathing her sword and slashing it to sever me in half at the waist, leaping over her head, as my laughter echoed seamlessly through these halls, as I landed behind her and pivoted away, as her body pulsed with a profound aura, that hand my skin on end.
Heartbroken, I flicked my hair and turned my cheek," darling, how could you!"
"I\'m going to fucking kill you! I swear it!"
"I said you can have your way with me. What more could you want, darling. I\'m always open to experimentation." I cried, allowing my eyes to grow wet with tears.
"Enough! Is this a game!" Shouted the captain spitefully, gritting his teeth. "The Sect Master wishes a word. The two of you are to follow me. Cleo, the sect master, ask that you hold off your ord—"
"This sect will have an hour. No more, no less," Said Cleo glaring profusely at me.
Meeting her glare with my smile, I could not help but find her swordsmanship rather high. While I had easily dodged her sword stroke, it was profoundly precise. Never have I seen anyone at her level aside from Lilith, and those stronger than us, use such a masterful sword stroke.
This temptress is definitely stealing my heart, especially those eyes of hers. They seem far too enticing to be normal.
"Please follow," Said the captain sternly, stepping ahead, with a bit of haste in his step.
Chasing after the captain, who even till now never bothered to introduce himself, I had begun to feel a little uncomfortable the longer I followed.
\'Freya, I may need you on stand-by.\' I said through my blood.
"Any time you need me, My Master, I shall be there." She answered back almost instantly.
Lowering my anxiety, I glanced at the vigilant Cleo. It was not just me who\'s instincts were ringing.
Pushing through two double doors that look to fit those of giants, a powerful gust of divine essence brushed over me like a powerful gust of wind. I stood my ground under such profound pressure, while my frown only deepened as I stared dead at the source.
"Seraphina," I coldly said, glaring at the icy maiden, standing with a firey aura.
"You know me?" She coldly said, drawing close to me, causing a horrendous pressure to swallow the very laws.
Forcing Cleo to release Soulforce, I too began to flare my Soulforce, astonishing her greatly.
"You possess Soulforce!"
Not bothering to say a word, the pressure around me continued to rise as I stood my ground.
"What does it look like?" I spat, unwilling to lower my head. However, as I did, the very ceiling came crashing down as Seraphina\'s power soared over the Holy Sword Sect.
"Boy! You hold a soul! You take me for a fool?" She thundered, unsheathing the blade at her waist, and placed it at the nape of my neck. Feeling the ice heat of the sacred flame coiling around me, I merely sneered, with blood racing down my lips.
"I do,"
Disbelief flickered through her golden eyes, but it quickly crumbled as her right arm stretched over my throat, pulling me high into the air. Digging her finger through my skin that no star-lord could pierce, she snorted, "That pride of yours will be your undoing."
"Kill me if you must; I will not be a slave," I coldly stated, playing a deadly gamble. Escape was easily possible, with shadow step, but Sera didn\'t outright kill me. She needed something.
"You will be my disciple," she coldly said, dropping me as I burst into laughter.
"What? I already have a master!" I hastily stated, playing along, unable to believe what I was here.
Sera sneered, "I wasn\'t asking; the same will hold true for you, Cleo, and the other chosen here. No more will you be a part of that wretched Court of Nox.. You will relay the order to your Master and dismiss the fleet orbiting the holy city, less I slaughter every last one, including your Master."
