Chapter 284: The New Queen, Exiling Ling Jiu
Chapter 284: The New Queen, Exiling Ling Jiu
It looked exactly like a human being. Just that it was over 2,000 meters.
There was no doubt that this was a giant. But Ling Jiu did not know what species it was.
“What species is it, Leoux?” Ling Jiu was curious.
“I don’t know yet. There is no information about it in the Leoux’s database,” Leoux said. “But I know why its soul is so powerful.”
“Why?”
“Because it has an Evogod soul,” Leoux said.
“The Evogod?”
Ling Jiu was taken aback and looked at the giant in disbelief. “How could he possibly be an Evogod? Isn’t he a giant?”
“I told you before,” Leoux said. “The Evogods are just pure soul beings. Without a physical body, they can seize the bodies of various physical beings. They can even control spaceships and machines. So they can appear in various physical forms.”
“You mean the soul of this giant is of an Evogod; an Evogod has taken over the giant’s body?” Ling Jiu finally put two and two together.
“Exactly.” Leoux had confirmed Ling Jiu’s understanding. “The soul of this giant is indeed an Evogod, and this soul is powerful.”
“This soul is comparable to a super-clustered being, which means his Eight Methods of Black Hole Evolution has at least reached the second stage.”
“The second stage of the Eight Methods of Black Hole Evolution?” Envy filled Ling Jiu’s eyes.
He had successfully set up a Soul Collecting Array, but it required too much dark psionic energy to form the soul nebula.
Even though he had practiced near the white hole for nearly 20 years, the soul nebula still had not reached the point where it could form soul stars.
He still had a long way to go.
“You don’t want to miss this opportunity, Ling Jiu,” Leoux said.
“This Evogod is so powerful. You can crush and convert its soul into the purest dark psionic energy, and then inhale it into the sea of consciousness to strengthen your soul nebula.”
“Right.” Ling Jiu repeatedly nodded. “But its soul is too powerful for me. I am worried my Inner World can’t digest it.”
He would be foolish if he thought he could digest the soul of an Evogod with his Inner World.
“I can help you with this,” Leoux said. “I can help you annihilate its soul and break it into soul fragments, and then you can digest it.”
Ling Jiu nodded repeatedly. It was hard to digest a soul in whole, but once broken into fragments, he believed his Inner World could easily absorb it.
“Replicate its Mind Manipulation first, then I will handle the rest,” Leoux said.
Ling Jiu did not hesitate but replicated Mind Manipulation at once. After some study, Ling Jiu found that this powerful Mind Manipulation could completely control the soul of living beings and deprive the soul of control over the body.
He could feel that with the current strength of his soul, he could have absolute control over the souls of stellar beings using this Mind Manipulation.
Not even apex stellar beings could escape his Mind Manipulation.
“What a great arcana!”
Following that, he returned to Europa.
Because of the different flow of time, only three months had passed on Earth and Europa after spending ten years near the white hole.
Three months was neither too long nor too short, but the changes on Europa still came as a surprise to Ling Jiu.
The changes came from the Merpeople, to be exact.
While Ling Jiu was away, the Merpeople elders had launched a coup, imprisoned the Merqueen, and installed a new one.
Ling Jiu had long expected this. He knew very well that the elders of the Merpeople would not give up so easily.
Just that he did not expect these elders were disregarding his existence and launched the coup d’état under his nose. Were they not afraid of his revenge?
With this question in mind, Ling Jiu killed his way into the imperial city and found the new Merqueen.
This new Merqueen was no less attractive than the former one. Just that she was not as powerful as the one before her.
She was only a Level-1 stellar being.
Right now, the new Merqueen was practicing self-cultivation in the imperial city. She did not even notice Ling Jiu’s presence when he came near to her.
He hemmed all of a sudden.
“Who is it?”
The new Merqueen was woken out of her self-cultivation and stared at him. “Who are you?”
“You don’t have to know who I am,” Ling Jiu said in a nonchalant voice. “Let me ask you, where is the Merqueen? Where have those old fags taken her to?”
The new Merqueen’s face changed, as if she had thought of something. “You are the devil who killed Elder Swordfish and Elder Tigershark?”
“It looks like you are not entirely ignorant.” Ling Jiu teased. “Now can you tell me where the Merqueen is?”
The new Merqueen did not answer, but pressed a mechanism. A stone door appeared behind her with a click.
She got in and disappeared into the stone door.
“Run?”
Ling Jiu raised an eyebrow. He moved in a flash to come in front of the stone door, and then pursued the new Merqueen into the stone door and came to a flight of stairs.
The steps meandered down, and Ling Jiu did not know where they would lead to. But when he followed the steps and reached the bottom, what he saw stunned him.
A huge underground palace, the walls, and floors of which were made of some special materials, appeared in front of his eye.
There were dozens of statues in here.
Some of these statues were 10 yards tall, some only one or two yards. They were of different sizes, but all were of the Merpeople, without exception.
He glanced at these statues but was not interested in them as a colorful sphere suspended in mid-air had attracted his attention.
The sphere exuded colorful light, apparently a wormhole.
“I didn’t know there was a wormhole hidden under the Merpeople’s Imperial City. What a surprise,” Ling Jiu said to himself as he looked at the wormhole.
The new Merqueen came in front of the wormhole and then jumped right into it with no hesitation.
Ling Jiu did not stop her. He followed her and also entered the wormhole. He was a daredevil who feared nothing.
But unknown to him, shortly after he entered the wormhole, a group of people appeared in the underground palace.
There were the elders of the Merpeople.
“That darn idiot took the bait.” An elder looked at the wormhole and broke into laughter.
“On the other side of this sea cave is an extremely dangerous world, where even galactic beings would have no escape and get killed.”
“How dare he enslave our Merqueen and kill our elders? He is absolutely heinous and deserving to be exiled to an alien world.”
“You are right. If it weren’t for the gap in strength, I would have ripped him into pieces to relieve the hatred in me.”
“Come on. Let’s cut the crap and destroy this wormhole, lest that devil return and ruin everything.”
The other elders of the Merpeople came to their senses as an elder urged. They immediately launched an attack on the wormhole.
Wormholes are a very special thing. Some wormholes are extremely stable while some are relatively fragile.
The wormhole in front of them was a relatively fragile one. It vanished under the attack of the elders of the Merpeople.
